Record Bathurst 6 Hour grid set

Crick leads the 2024 bathurst 6 hour

The 2025 Bathurst 6 Hour grid will be bigger than ever with a massive 72 cars entered for the Easter affair.

A capacity amount of entries has been reached for the first time in event history, breaking the 6 Hour record of 70 set in 2022.

The grid cannot get any bigger with Mount Panorama’s maximum track density across the 6.213km set at 72 cars by Motorsport Australia.

If all 72 cars make to the Easter Sunday race, it will be the biggest race ever held at Mount Panorama with the biggest fields for the Great Race 63 in 1969, 1978 and 1984.

There will be 13 Supercars drivers ranging from Jayden Ojeda, Will Davison, David Russell, Jack Le Brocq, Thomas Randle, Anton De Pasquale, Cameron Crick, Bryce Fullwood, Todd Hazelwood, Zak Best, Aaron Seton, Steve Owen and John Bowe.

A total of 14 brands and 20 models will also ensure there is a diverse range of cars on show across Class X (Ultimate Performance) Class A1 (Extreme Performance) Class A2 (Extreme Performance) Class B1 (Forced Induction) Class B2 (Naturally Aspirated) Class C (Performance) Class D (Production) Class E (Compact).

A resumption of the 2024 battle for victory can be anticipated by fans with the entire podium remaining unchanged.

The winning combination of Ojeda, Simon Hodges and George Miedecke are back together, as are the runners up of Randle, Ben and Michael Kavich in their Race For A Cure/Breast Cancer Trials machine.

The first all-female team to win a Bathurst enduro last year returns, Team Buccini Racing’s Karlie Buccini and Courtney Prince to be joined by second-generation racer Tabitha Ambrose this year in their Class B1 BMW.

The 2025 Bathurst 6 Hour will be held on April 18-20 and will be broadcast Fox Sports, Kayo and SBS.
